A little bit about the current team:

We are small growing team building an application that will be a combination of Evite and Groupon initially
for the event space and later for more general retail.
We are leveraging social media & smart discounts to help event organizers &
online businesses reach critical mass faster & get rid of excess capacity.

Responsibilities
Passionate about UI/UX.
Significant experience with Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, and/or other frontend web technologies
Python or other programming experience.
Django or other equivalent web frameworks.
Experience with version control (git is a plus)
Experience with MySQL
Good understanding of web technologies (e.g. HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux
Google App Engine, cloud computing, experience and interest in scaling web applications.
Flexible to try new technology and actively learn things quickly on your own
