Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
Design and build mobile and web apps using applications, techniques, and tools.
Design and develop user interface features and special-effect elements.
Devise and solve complex design problems and lead others toward the common goal of a creative online offering.
Create design concepts, flow charts, information architecture, and assets.
Develop user interface wireframe specifications / create wireframes, perform software usability testing/evaluations, and create written recommendations.
Advanced knowledge of:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet unpredictable deadlines
Strong understanding of user interface design principles and usability testing methodology
Strong concept ability
Solid understanding of functionality and responsive design
Must be comfortable working concept through production under the supervision of an art director
Ability to think independently, yet open to other team members' ideas as a master of collaboration
Experience with usability and user interface design of applications
Experience with wireframe specifications and software usability evaluations
Familiarity with multiple authors/principles on the subject of usability
Familiarity with working to project plans
Illustration skills are a plus, but not required.
