Overview
Seattle based art startup is searching for a graphics and UI / UX web designer to design and create a new theme and layout for our existing website. You will have complete creative license and have the opportunity to truly place your stamp on this project.
Responsibilities
Designer will be responsible for creating a user interface that is intuitive and aesthetically pleasing for the user. Create wireframes outlining the initial design concepts, produce templates in Adobe Create Suite and finally transform your design into coded markup pages.
Skills
Experience with Adobe creative suite, Visio, Illustrator
Strong experience in visual and graphic design, page layout, typography
Ability to transform website designs into HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript markup pages
Experience with jQuery is a plus
1-2 years experience in web design
Compensation
This is a contract position.
