UI/UX Front-end web designer (CSS/HTML) - Barcelona

The role:
The ideal candidate will combine a distinctive approach with a consistent level of design excellence. It is important that the design language enhances the UI/UX and that the resulting code is transparent.
Responsibilities
Enhancing design and markup issues.
Implementing new mockups.
Performing maintenance and optimizations.
Experience
You’re ready to take responsibility, working independently and thinking out of the box, helping us to achieve our target for growth.
Skills
At least 2 years extensive experience developing front-end code for websites (HTML, CSS).
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
Proven ability to create engaging and intuitive web sites.
Expert on HTML5 and CSS3.
Good command with Javascript / JQuery as a language.
Experience with Ajax and Photoshop.
Strong opinions regarding user experience and the design of web based applications.
Solid understanding of cross browser issues.
Attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment.
Team player and fluent in English.
Education
Academic studies in Web Design or equivalent degree/experience.
Compensation
Compensation depends on experience and will include bonus related to achievement of development milestones.
