UK Implementation Consultant

Overview
The AppNexus Implementation Consultant works closely with the Account Manager in developing and executing an implementation plan that will make customers amazingly successful with our real time ad platform solutions. That entails consulting with customers so they achieve their objectives and deeply understand the vast new possibilities created by real-time bidding.

This role is perfect for someone who has 2-7 years of work experience, has a quantitatively-oriented degree (of any variety) from a top-tier school, and who thrives in extremely analytical, technically-oriented, consultative role.
Responsibilities
Make Customers Amazingly Successful:
- Project manage new customer implementations
- Define customer requirements
- Become a product and domain expert, and share that expertise with customers
- Work closely with the Account Manager to train and to implement customers
- Analyze display ad campaign performance and offer recommendations for improvements
- Deeply understand the customer’s business to thereby help them understand how to best leverage the possibilities offered by the AppNexus platform
-Tenaciously troubleshoot product issues
- Rally internal resources as needed to resolve customer issues
Build a World Class Company:
- Help build our Client Services practice, including developing training material, customer facing assets, and internal resources
- Provide feedback to Product Management
- Share knowledge with Client Services team members
Experience
Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Strong quantitative background
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Demonstrable passion for learning new technologies
At least 2 years of experience working in a client-facing capacity for IT projects; 2-5 years of experience overall
Versatile, with excellent organizational skills; process-oriented, yet entrepreneurial
Familiarity with online media buying and selling, advertising technology solutions, and ad network business models a plus
Management consulting experience a plus
Experience in Internet technologies such as HTML, SQL, JavaScript, PHP, web servers a strong plus
Experience with relational databases a plus
An quantitatively-oriented degree of any variation from a top-tier school is required
