Overview
As an agile UX Developer, you will work with a team of engineers, UX Developers and UX Designers to bring product ideas to life. Must be able to work creatively, collaboratively, and iteratively across small teams to discover and create optimal interfaces through rapid UI development. This is a great opportunity for a developer to have significant positive impact on the design of very cool products while forming the bridge between the product needs and engineering teams. The right person for this position is highly passionate for helping to build great user interfaces using modern web and mobile based technologies. The right candidate must have strong communication skills and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities
Responsible for implementation of the customer facing applications on both mobile and desktop environments
Work collaboratively with UX Designers, UX Developers and engineers to develop leading-edge user interface designs for Aquto's range of products
Ability to reproduce design intent with a high degree of fidelity
Write JavaScript for prototypes as necessary
Understand the nuances and code using responsive design principles
Resolve desktop and mobile browser compatibility and accessibility issues as well as investigate and troubleshoot complex CSS, JS and HTML bugs
Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of current and emerging web technologies, including HTML 5, CSS 3 and mobile platforms
Provide ideas about new ways to leverage web and mobile technology to improve our products and work to implement those ideas
Experience
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a Four-Year College or University; or equivalent combination of both education and experience. Computer Science degree is a plus.
Expert knowledge with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX and other advanced web and mobile application technologies
Experience building HTML5 based mobile applications with PhoneGap
Experience with node.js and grunt.js
Experience with Javascript MVC frameworks such backbone.js
Experience with test driven development and tools such as Jasmine and PhantomJS
Proactive, driven, and looking to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Ability to learn quickly and display solid logic/engineering thinking
