Overview
CareerNumbers is a Boston-based startup that considers User Experience to be one the most critical success factors for our business, and we’re willing to invest our resources in UX accordingly. As such, we’re looking for a highly capable UX lead / front end developer who can work with us to build a world-class user experience based on our product vision. You’ll report directly to our CEO and will work alongside other smart, passionate, and friendly people in a startup environment. We want someone who can understand the big-picture, take ownership of the user experience, and get things done. Do you have a proven track record? Do you know how to make the complex seem simple? We are looking for a UX lead / front-end developer who can take the lead and get things done. As a member of our early team, you'll be helping us create the company and its culture. As such, we’re looking for someone who cares an inordinate amount about the people they work with, who can help us create a work-hard / play-hard environment to both have fun and get the job done.
Additionally, we’re looking for a proven professional who has the aptitude and experience to successfully lead and execute UX and front-end development projects ranging from:
• Working with our CEO to make UX strategy decisions
• Designing information architecture, navigation flows, etc.
• Creating sketches, wireframes and prototypes
• Designing and running low-overhead usability tests
• Implementing designs and other front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
