Overview
A stealth SF startup is looking for an graphic designer with a focus and passion for user experience and web 2.0 design principals.
If you find the start-up world interesting and dynamic to work in this may be your gig. Photoshop will be the tool of choice. HTML knowledge is a plus.
The candidate must be local to the bay area as face-to-face meetings would be necessary on a case-by-case basis. Airline industry experience or passion for flying would be a major bonus. At this phase of the project we are only looking for Freelances. Please do not apply if you are acting as or representing an agency. Must be willing to sign an NDA and work under a contract. 10-20 hours a week with growth opportunities.
The environment is extremely fast paced development with a continual demand for problem solving logic and fresh new ideas. The team is small and your ability to make an impact is massive! As one of the initial team members you will have the ability to build the voice of the company and make an impact. Help us create and define the future of human travel!

Responsibilities
Key responsibility would include taking initial mockups from boring UI drawing to graphic design pop!

Experience
3-5 Graphic Design Experience
1-2 User Experience Design *User Experience Design Methodologies
Familiar with Web 2.0 Design Principals
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, CSS and InDesign
Knowledge of site usability, layout and design principles
Detailed understanding of color, space, and typography
Previous Product Development Experience
Skills

Education
A Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
