We're looking for a Web Interface Designer to define the look-and-feel, information flow and interaction design. Be part of our exciting team and help change the way people plan travel. The position requires strong visual design skills, complemented with a solid understanding of information design with the goal of developing highly usable website.
You will work with our product development team to implement new features on the site and support existing functionality.
You will develop site graphics and other support materials for the site. The company is small and expanding rapidly. You will manage your projects from start to finish, working within establish development practices. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of our company.
Implement new site features from conception to completion based on product specifications
Create visual designs based wireframes and produce final web ready art
Comfortable developing interaction flows, paper mock-ups, wireframes and interactive mockups
Develop the concepts and visual designs for new promotions and featured items
Design effectively within establish visual and interaction design styles
Participate in usability testing
Develop support materials, brochures, promotional materials and newsletters
Developing dynamic graphics and tutorials with flash
3+ years doing Visual Design, Interaction Design and/or Information Architecture for establish websites.
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or other new media studies
Preferred experience in the travel or other consumer areas that required complex user interactions
Good visual design skills as well as interaction design skills
Competent with web design tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver and Visio
Understand of HTML and advanced CSS
Familiar with web 2.0 design sensibilities and technology, such as ajax
Understanding of print production techniques
Comfortable with working under tight deadlines and release schedules
Functions well in collaborative environment
Must be able to work onsite
