Overview
Mixbook (www.mixbook.com) is a profitable, rapidly-growing startup that allows people to collaboratively create photo books through a powerful online flex application. With over 2 million users and 5 million Mixbooks created, Mixbook is scaling rapidly and looking for a top notch User Interface Designer to bring our products to the next level.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the founding team to design the next version of Mixbook.com.
Build out new Mixbook page designs and features.
Design and manage the user activation and conversion processes on Mixbook.com.
Experience
3+ years experience working on large consumer-facing web applications as a UI designer.
Experience designing for Adobe Flex applications is a big plus.
Experience with end-user usability testing is a plus.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
A strong, clean visual design sense.
Strong communication skills - if you have a problem with something, you speak up.
Thrive on working with A-players. You’re too good to spend long hours with B-players.
