We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic sales leader who can help us develop, execute and implement our go-to-market strategy. To start, we’ll need this individual to develop a client pipeline, bring in business and define the sales model. As the model gets refined and sales grow, we’ll look to this leader to build out and lead a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO to develop and implement a successful go-to-market strategy based on a deep understanding of client needs and the value of ManageUp’s data and community
Build a successful selling model from client identification to initial sale to ongoing and growing relationships
Once the go-to-market strategy and sales model are developed, design the staffing model and sales strategy and then build and lead the sales team to drive strong business growth
Be the ‘voice of the corporate customer’ to our product management and development teams
Experience
6-10+ years sales experience both as a successful individual contributor and more recently as a strong manager/leader/player-coach
3+ years experience selling to HR professionals, ideally heads of recruiting, sourcing or talent attraction
3+ years experience selling a related product: online job postings, online information, employee selection products, etc.
Prior experience in business development, product marketing and/or pricing would be helpful
Skills
Ability to establish and grow client relationships with senior HR personnel
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong sales process, analytics and management skills
Outstanding team, influencing and collaborative skills
Results-oriented business and strategic acumen
Adaptable and enthusiastic about being part of a fast growing entrepreneurial organization
Compensation
Competitive based on experience: base, commission, and equity
