This role will be responsible for using their technical expertise to build a disruptive world changing platform, with a focus on product development and execution processes; that will leverage brilliant people, evolve engineering systems and tools, and operationally build excellent business processes to create a progressive for-good company that stomps out its mainstream competitors.
Management of growing teams— Plan current needs with longer-term product roadmap needs; weighing, balancing and communication of the trade-offs.
Operational—Determine, direct and implement the processes and metrics to the engineering team to ensure the product is market-ready. Improve efficiency and drive the evolution of systems architecture.
Hiring—Find, recruit, and hire the VERY best. Be the advocate for the next generation software engineers. Spearhead recruiting and company image to local markets. Must love the idea of building a “cult” of amazing technologists whose religion is hacking the world for good.
Preferred 10 years of senior management experience
Been there, done that: This candidate must understand how startups operate, both from a business perspective and from a technology perspective. This person will have a passion for scaling e-commerce companies.

Lover of Details: Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, not easily stressed out but knows how to manage it. Must have the ability to understand the importance of details and balance them with rapid iteration.
Strategic Problem Solving and Execution: Analytic and strategic planner, authored business technology plans, proven ability to get to solutions for complex problems (as an owner of the idea not just an idea giver); proven ability to convert a “feel for the marketplace” into actionable products. Must be a data geek.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree in related field is highly preferred.
