SalesCircles.org is the first member-led community of sales professionals worldwide. We've have been in beta mode for the past year fine tuning our business plan and direction.
We are an interesting and practical early start-up team of business and technical folks. We really focus on team synergy and execution. And most of all, we have good fun building a niche product of immediate and realistic demand.
About You
We are actively on the lookout for an experienced VP of Engineering to join our team. Preferably, you should be a focused and hands-on technical leader with a good sense of the business world. You should have:
Experience in recruiting and managing a small team
Very strong entrepreneurial spirit
Strong interest in building large scale web infrastructure
Creative at solving new problems
Track record in IP development
Capable of coding in Ruby on Rails
Stable job background

Responsibilities
Work with founders on defining strategies and team culture
Recruit and lead a small team of front/backend developers
Work with existing technical team on architecture
Manage feature releases on time and budget
Code new product features
Evaluate new technologies and best practices
Experience
Some recent start-up team recruitment and management experience
Some experience in pitching to investors
Must be able to translate business requirements into technical specs
Kept up with the latest Web technologies and Agile Development practices
Skills
Good web architecture skills
Coding experience in Ruby on Rails
Education
MS/PhD in degree in Computer Science
