Overview
Start up video game developer/publisher seeking highly qualified candidate with experience and knowledge of gaming industry. Individual will work in spare time with move to full time paid, once we are fully funded. Share entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build an entire finance/shareholder/HR department(s) from the ground up. Creating new policies and procedures and working with the Executive Team to build a solid, fund-able company. Experience with Venture Capital in the gaming industry is a huge plus.
Responsibilities
Handling full company accounting, including reporting
Create budgets and financial planning
Implement, maintain and enforce company policies in Finance
Report to Board, make recommendations and serve as CFO
Handle company stock and shareholder services
Lead Human Resources Department
Other duties to be determined
Experience
Experience in Game industry a plus, but not required
At least 5 years as leader, Executive or VP of Finance/Accounting
Skills
Highly detail orientated
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Keen financial skill
Ability to handle Shareholder Services and work with Shareholders (namely VC's until IPO)
Budget and Expenses
Gaming industry knowledge in accounting and projection
Education
BA or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field
