VP of Marketing for O2O Social Activity

at Groupivity in Sunnyvale, CA   —   Mar 29, 2014   |
Overview
We are Socialwised.com, a new O2O Social Activities company.

We are live with thousands of users. We need a high energy, multi-hat wearing, hands-on marketer to supervise efforts to drive traffic to the site. You would be a founding member of this organization.

We also just launched a new service that is helping us sign up businesses in NY, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Diego on top of our home markets of SF, SJ, Salt Lake, and DC.

We are looking for an "ad hoc" virtual founding team to seek funding. We are looking for someone in the Bay Area that has a somewhat "fundable" background. You would help with the funding outreach and would only require to do "real work" once we get funding and can pay everyone. SO this is an equity position to start.
Responsibilities
Depending on your background, you will lead or help to manage the various marketing areas:
Direct marketing
SEM/SEO
Social Media/Social Network
Consumer advertisement
Vertical business advertisement
Referrals programs
PR
Affiliate partners/Channel
Guerilla
Experience
We are looking for someone who can commit full time but will also consider candidates who can contribute part time with a minimum of 20 hrs a week.
The ideal candidate should be of the following:
An entrepreneur who has started a software/Internet business.
A marketer with demonstrated experiences managing growth in Internet traffic or experiences in marketing or PM for ecommerce B2C.
Someone who has built a brand
