VP of Real Estate

Overview
Do you wake up in the morning and eat real estate deals for breakfast? Have you built a career doing one or more of these: real estate investing, acquisitions, development, or large-scale residential property management? Our VP of Real Estate role is a very unique opportunity for someone with a passion for real estate and a track record of success in the market.

Krash is building a network of shared living spaces around the globe, and we’re looking for the right person to join our senior team and drive our real estate acquisition and development strategy. This role is vital to the rapid international expansion we have set in motion, and to achieve our massive vision in the co-living innovation space and beyond. This core role will allow you to play a key role in shaping our company and defining a new industry.

WHO YOU ARE
You’re a Director level or above in real estate development, acquisition and have the chops to build a solid real estate strategy for rapid national expansion. You have at least 10 years of senior real estate experience, and would never think of doing anything besides closing and developing real estate deals.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Defining and executing the real estate strategy for Krash.
Lead the process to identify, finance, and acquire the necessary property supply to meet our growth goals.
Work closely with our CEO to innovate on real estate strategy.
Build and manage a team to support the real estate strategy.
Meet required acquisition goals for city launches.
Work directly with brokers, owners, managers, lawyers, lenders and investors to strike deals.
Experience
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE
Strategic. A high-level real estate visionary is required in this role.
Execution-oriented. You will lead the delivery of the real estate strategy.
Highly effective negotiator and deal maker. You’ve been “first seat” on many large deals and have extremely strong negotiation skills.
Biz dev expertise. You know how to work a deal and partner with the right people.
Networked. You have a very strong existing network in real estate acquisitions, investment, and development.
BONUS - you’ve worked in one of these industries: mixed-use, student housing, group housing, senior-living, SRO, or small hotel.
