Overview
Attentive.ly is “enterprise listening” software designed to help organizations use social data about their customers and leads (or donors/volunteers) to radically improve response rates across email, social media, and online ads. We are seeking a talented and energetic VP of Sales to lead our B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales operation. Attentive.ly is a growing start-up that rewards high-performers with the opportunity to grow with the company and an aggressive salary + commission structure, as well as stock options. In this position, you will be responsible for selling subscription based software solutions to US-based businesses and nonprofits -- as well as helping shape the overall sales strategy and growth of the sales team.

Responsibilities
Work with team to develop a sales strategy that will maximize sales objectives
Direct tactical implementation of that strategy to meet objectives
Close sales deals to meet defined objectives
Follow up on inquiries generated through web and marketing programs
Prepare activity and forecast reports as appropriate
Play leadership role in conveying customer needs to technical staff
Manage new sales staff and assist in the development of sales training
Experience
At least 4 years of sales experience in the enterprise software industry
Experience bringing new products/technology to market
Proven record of sales quota and goal achievement
Big bonus points for experience in social CRM or email marketing software sales
Skills
Expertise in sales and account management
Outstanding written/verbal communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team atmosphere
High degree of product knowledge and related technical terms used by customers
Familiarity with use of customer relationship databases
Compensation
