Textnomics is building the most advanced online tools for the massive careers market, helping the employers and later the job seekers. Our team consists of former NASA and European Scientists, entrepreneurs and senior executives, working on an IP rich product which is getting ready for beta.
We are looking for highly motivated, creative, hands-on and result focused VP of Marketing, PR and Alliances, with a strong track record . This is a key and ground floor position that reports directly to the CEO. The product is currently ready and has gone through initial alpha testing.
The ideal candidate will have expertise, leadership and experience in online marketing (for a web based-services). Familiarity and interest in the online careers and job market is a big plus. We believe the ideal candidate will define the process, and draws on her/his expertise to create and execute on a strong marketing, alliances, and monetization plan that may include and surpasses the following.
Understanding and segmenting the jobs market, specifically the resume and resume processing market.
Identifying channels to customers
Developing online and direct marketing strategy and go to market plans. Strong SEO, SEM, Analytics, and SocNetMarketing and tracking background.
Creating the Social Net and Twitter Marketing plan,
Creating Effective and Creative Monetization Plans
Creative and Novel Marketing, PR and Buzz Generation campaigns
Creating compelling and memorable messaging / pitch / tag lines for customers and evangelists
Identifying and creating relationships and incentive programs for the influencers in the market (eg bloggers, recruiters, career coaches).
Creating success metrics for various campaigns and initiatives
Creating bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly report
Identify hidden profit and revenue pools; Creating the SWOT and success metrics for each channel.
Identify key distributors and alliances (eg job boards, recruiting companies, local and state and federal programs, etc)
Create the messaging, incentives, and profit sharing programs for distributors
Helping create a Customer and Community Relations Program
Creating Customer engagement, resource contribution, and community creation program
Overseeing the creation of a Superb and Engaging Resources Center
Overseeing the creation of a 3rd Party contribution and evaluation system
Employing any and all other successful techniques used for web-based consumer services.
Since the founders are technical, we tend to bias to metrics and analytics as well as automated tools for marketing and sales.
However we value even more creativity and uniqueness.
Strong PR relationship and background, particularly connection to the media and HR bloggers a Huge Plus.
Bootstrapping also a plus.
This is a ground floor entry and compensation depends on experience
