Overview
MakerBot is looking for an experienced and consultative sales leader to take MakerBot sales to the next level. You will be a self-starter who has worked in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment and knows how to translate your passion for new into new business opportunities. You know how to sell to consumers, small businesses and channels/distributors and have lots of ideas of how to bring 3D printing to the masses!
Responsibilities
Establish targeted sales strategies for prospecting, qualifying and growing new and existing markets, channels and distributor relationships
Manage and inspire sales team in efforts to support strategy while reinforcing MakerBot’s brand & value proposition
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline
Manage CRM system, metrics and reporting for sales
Management of sales P&L
Experience
5+ years in a senior, client-facing role within an early adopter technology company, or as a creative and out-of-the-box dynamo sales leader
Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales goals
Familiarity with 3D printing or MakerBot is a plus
Skills
Ability and willingness to work in a very fast paced team environment
Strong client management and engagement skills
Demonstrated experience managing by P&L
Ability to travel as needed
