Overview
Lancope is currently looking for a Web Application Software Developer to contribute to it line of award winning network performance and security monitoring products. This position provides a great opportunity for a creative and motivated individual interested in user interface design to work as part of a fast-paced development team.
Responsibilities
Write client-side and server-side code for web applications
Implement new GUIs as well as redesign and extends exiting GUIs
Contribute to the design and development of a product-wide application stack and frameworks
Experience
5+ years of professional experience
Experience in server-side web application development: JSP, Servlets
Experience working with AJAX: JavaScript, HTML, DOM, CSS, JSON, XML
Familiarity with a Linux or UNIX runtime environment
Knowledge of IP networking and security is preferred
Experience with jQuery JavaScript library and plugins is a plus
Experience with Spring, Spring MVC or Spring Security is a plus
Skills
Solid understanding of core Java programming and run-time principles and fundamentals
Strong object orientated software design and development skills
An understanding of application performance tuning and resource usage
Education
Bachelors degree in a technical field is preferred.
