Web Content Editor, Writer and Researcher (Temporary, ~1-month duration)

Overview
An online career education company is recruiting an experienced writer to help us review short videos, enter data, and build content database.
Responsibilities
You will be writing a summary of short videos and inputting relevant information into our database. A pretty substantial amount of online research may be required. The video content revolves around job/career information, so you should have at least some familiarity with a wide range of careers.
The target audience for the content is 15-25 year old students.
Technical training and a project walkthrough will be provided before you start.
There are approximately 450 videos (most under 3min long) and some content research involved.
Skills
Excellent listening, writing, editing and research skills
Good understanding of educational and career opportunities for young people (18-30 years old) in the US
A drive to produce high quality content
Attention to detail
Compensation
This is approximately one month of work and you will be paid $1300 on a project basis. 50% will be paid halfway and the other 50% on project completion. A potential bonus of up to $200 is available for excellent work and timely completion. We may also consider you for future projects as well.
1099 at the end of the year, no tax withholding from us.
Our office is in Burlingame, there’s free parking on-site and free shuttle to the Millbrae BART station in the morning/afternoon. Free gym on site.
