Overview
Looking for valuable website content management experience while in school or during your summer break?

Language International is looking for a motivated and talented intern to manage our school content, coordinating with partner schools, offshore contractors, and our users. Join us at Language International, a team of language and technology enthusiasts working together to build the best language course search site on the internet. Today, we serve over 50,000 students a year and manage Language International sites in thirty different languages.

We do (humbly) think that Language International is a cool place to work. Our team is a diverse mixture in everything from cultural backgrounds and languages spoken to taste in music and clothes. But, there is one thing that binds us all: a drive to excel at what we do. We'll do whatever it takes to deliver the best language course search experience, even if it means staying up to fix a website bug or responding to customers on weekends. We work in an intense, fast-paced environment, relying on every member of the team to carry their share.

Don't worry, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Whether it’s showing off our culinary skills during team cooking events, showcasing our hidden genius in impromptu talent shows over catered lunch, or rehearsing the train dance during our summer party cruise or weekend party in Vermont, we love to have a good time together!

We have developed a passion for our team, product, and customers that is paralleled by none. If you’re excited about helping people learn new languages, want your coworkers to feel like family, and love to be challenged by working alongside the very best, then Language International is the place for you.
Responsibilities
Coordinating with schools to get profiles published onto our website
Administering quality checks on every school profiled created on our website
Updating incorrect or missing school and course content on our website
Driving quality and efficiency by identifying areas for improvement on an ongoing basis
Writing clear and helpful content to address common questions and issues
Skills
Obsessively meticulous. Can you find Waldo every time in matter of seconds? Good. You should be able to scan dozens of pages of text or data and spot any errors. Data-centric tasks that others might consider rote, you find invigorating.
Tenacious. Doing whatever it takes to meet aggressive deadlines, even if it means staying up or working on weekends. Those who are looking for a relaxing 9 to 5 need not apply.
Passionate about language learning. Our goal is to provide the best platform for students to find language courses abroad. We need you to make it happen.
Compensation
This is a very intense full-time internship for a period of at least 12 weeks or a part-time internship for at least 24 weeks. This internship is unpaid and you'll be working hard for sure, but you'll also learn a tremendous amount in a short period of time and get to experience the joys and challenges of working in an incredibly fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial Internet company. A very modest stipend may be available for highly-qualified candidates who can commit to more than 12 weeks.
