Overview
We're looking for someone who is driven, energetic and an excellent writer to produce new content and on-site copy for our website (http://seatgeek.com/ a ticket search engine for sports, concert and theatre ticket voted to PC Magazines list of the Top 100 websites of 2010). The ideal candidate will have a history of high quality blog posts and/or content live on the web, and have a basic understanding of SEO.
Responsibilities
Produce team and artists profiles
Post regularly on SeatGeek's blog about topics including sports, music, ticketing, and technology
Write unique content for 3rd party sites including Yahoo and Business Insider
Experience
Comfortable with social media platforms (we blog on the WordPress platform)
Superb writing skills
Energetic, driven, eager to learn
Interest in Sports and/or Music a plus
Compensation
Please include a writing sample with your application.
Note that this is a part-time paid position (commensurate on experience) which we will bill either hourly or on a per article basis. Must be able to work remotely.
