Overview
The ideal candidate will work with our UX designer and engineers to polish the platform layout into a work of art. The candidate will develop and produce assets for mobile applications and web platforms, with a unwavering focus on the brand. We're looking for a full-time, equity partner interested in cutting their teeth in a startup environment. Responsibilities
Create and own end-to-end web interface
Develop pixel perfect front end web and mobile app interfaces from PSDs
Work with the UX Designer and Engineering team on a day-to-day basis to design and convert new functionality
Lead product reviews with executive staff on direction of current projects
Stay abreast of current development and design tools, techniques and methodologies; help drive innovation in the product
Experience
3+ years of experience in consumer web, designing wireframes and finished functional/visual assets
Comfortable working in an agile development environment; must be able to rapidly iterate using low fidelity when necessary
Thorough understanding of user-centered design and web standards
Ability to articulate design decisions with executive team, and appropriately pivot based on feedback
A fantastic and thoughtful portfolio
Self-starter; can manage time and workload with little oversight
Must have portfolio to share
