Overview
BitTorrent creates advanced, innovative technologies to efficiently move large files across the Internet. Our two main products today include the original BitTorrent software and the tiny-but-mighty µTorrent, which combined boast over 100+ million users. We are looking for a few exceptional people to help take our company to the next level. Our current openings are for our new office space (really, it’s awesome) in Downtown San Francisco, SOMA.
You will be working on developing product launch infrastructure on the websites team. This includes (but is not limited to) website and advertising infrastructure development, product launches and content promotions. Much of which will reach millions of users on a daily basis.

Experience
1-3 years experience (or demonstrable skill):
Portfolio including work samples (links will do)
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JQuery
Proficiency in the Adobe Suite
Understanding of pixel perfection
Good Design sense
Source code management using Git/SVN (we use Git)
Some familiarity with PHP and/or server side scripts
Curiosity and willingness to learn new things
Work independently and meet project deadlines
Skills
Extra Points For:
Being an HTML5 and CSS3 ninja
Advanced skills developing logos/Typography
Ajax, Advanced Javascript
PHP, MySQL, Couch
Developing reliable, MVC web applications
Strong familiarity with command line tools
