The Intern will work closely with a small, dynamic team to design, implement, and support the next generation of social recruitment tools on the Facebook platform. The projects will be diverse and challenging, and may include
Developing our APIs to support third parties around the world
Improving application workflow across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other networks
Innovating upon and improving proprietary semantic and statistical matching algorithms
Developing full-text search functionality using Solr
Designing and implementing administrative and analytics tools to suit the business team's needs
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, Python, MongoDB, jQuery and Symphony is a plus but not required
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
