Overview
Private Access is seeking a seasoned Web Developer (L2) capable of designing & developing secure, web browser-based software applications and commercial solutions within an ASP.NET, XML and SAML/XACML based framework environment.
Working for the Technology & Product Design & Development (TPD) Organization within Private Access, this individual will be a key member in advancing current and future company web products, services & solutions such as PrivateAccess.com, RecruitSource.com and TrialsFinders.com. This person will participate in designing, prototyping and developing next generation core technologies within the company’s technology roadmap. She/he will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, documenting and maintaining web and ASP .NET architecture-based products and initiatives, while ensuring accurate, timely, cost-effective execution and delivery of technical solutions in accordance with business requirements, company goals, and industry best practices & procedures.
The successful candidate must possess strong technical development, communication, and organization skills; be able to work effectively as a member of a project team as well as perform independently. He/she must exhibit exceptional follow-through and be willing to take action to achieve goals and objectives while remaining productive and focused in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Responsibilities
12+ years experience in web-based development, architecture, and systems design
Strong technical background in ASP .NET architecture and multi-tiered systems
Effective project delivery experience with great attention to detail
Collaborate with various levels of management across the organization to define the technical components for business initiatives
Capable of effectively coordinating, directing and advising the work of an engineering team consisting for developers, testers, analysts and graphic designers
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with outstanding oral, written and presentation capabilities
Strong ability to generate specific, detailed concepts from abstract information
Ability to work in an environment that is agile and has shifting priorities from time to time, and can effectively re-orient team members to adapt to such dynamics
Ability to lead work within a software engineering methodology and collaborate to define, interpret and implement and SDLC appropriate for the situation
Strong competencies in leading-edge technologies
Experience in documenting application and software design
Commercial Experience Desired
Strong knowledge and experience in designing and developing front-end and back-end web-based applications
Experience in a variety of development methodologies (for example Waterfall, JAD, RAD) with preference to agile methodologies
Experience in managing and supervising or leading a technical team
Strong database design and sound data modeling skills
Experienced in establishing and maintaining third-party integrations
Experienced in troubleshooting problems and optimizing multi-tiered applications
Knowledge of healthcare technology standards (HL7, CCD, CCR, CDA) is a plus
Experience in a variety of industries (for example financial services, social media, gaming and academia) with preference for healthcare industry experience

Expert level experience in JAVA 6.0 and .NET 3.5 familiarity is a nice to have
Understands and Implemented Security Protocol such as WS-Security, WS-Trust, SAML and XACML
Extensive expertise with XML and related technologies (i.e. XSLT, XML Schema (XSD), and XPATH)
Experience developing in a of SOA/WOA environment
Extensive expertise reading and creating UML diagrams including sequence, class, and collaboration/activity diagrams
Experienced with Agile, XP (Extreme Programming), RUP SDLC processes
Expertise with source control and related tools such as
Subversion
Expertise with automated build and related tools such as Bamboo and CruiseControl.NET is a nice to have
Experience and extensive knowledge in, OOP, Design Patterns
Knowledge of WCF framework is a plus
Knowledge of open source server such as JBoss is desirable
Knowledge of any one IDP system is desirable, such as Picketlink, Apache RAMPART, Open SAML, but not a must have
Should be well versed with JAXB and JAX-WS 2.0, WSDL Specification
Experience with, Eclipse, Netbeans and Glassfish is a plus
Education
Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science highly desired
Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Professional (Industry) certifications highly desirable
