Overview
Mindspark's mywebsearch engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate front-end web developer who takes pride in developing web applications leveraging cutting edge technologies and agile development methodologies in a fast-moving team-oriented environment.
If you enjoy seeing your UI "work of art" being used by millions of users every day; have a passion for coding (making cleaner, faster, and more robust products) we want to talk with you.
Technical Skills:
•Extensive knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS and Flash (incl. Flex and AS3)
•Advanced Javascript skills (DHTML, OOP, AJAX, jQuery, JSON)
•Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable and efficient code, and to correctly employ design patterns
•Experience with JSP/JSTL and/or Velocity
•Familiarity with Java EE and Spring is a plus
•Experience with SVN or other source control software
•Familiarity browser extension technologies (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) is a plus
Additional Requirements:
•Skilled at quickly and intelligently solving a wide range of front-end development issues in a forward thinking manner
•Superb written and verbal communication skills
•Experience releasing projects to a live production environment successfully
•Drive to learn and take on new challenges
•Actively share knowledge and responsibility with other team members
•Keeps abreast of industry and technology trends
Required Education & Experience:
•BS in Computer Science, Digital Media or similar technical degree with 3+ years of experience or a MS with 1+ years of experience
