Web Development Technical Lead

Overview
CommunityKard is seeking a smart, energetic Web Development Technical Lead to join our fun team. You will need to be able to make changes on websites based on the client’s specifications, make coding edits, handle website/technical troubleshooting issues and develop and maintain these websites. It would be a great bonus if you have built smart phone apps in the past!
Responsibilities
Website design and development from the initial process of taking inputs from the sales/client services teams to final implementation and testing – using latest web designing techniques and skills along with closed loop marketing applications.
Experience
At least 3 years of software engineering experience
Able to work in unstructured and self-motivated environment
Self starter who’s anxious to start producing
Start-up experience preferred
Skills
Any and all of the following or similar technologies:
PHP, Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, C++ experience
database knowledge (Oracle, MySQL)
Web Services, Javascript, HTML
Smart phone application development
Keen attention to detail in code implementation
Ability to adapt to changing requirements based on specific client needs
Experience with SEO, including semantic markup, content creation and on-page optimization best practices preferred
Excellent attention to detail, data analysis skills, writing and organizational skills
Education
Preferable a 4 year degree in MIS and/or computer science
Compensation
Initially this is an equity-based position with project-based cash kickers while we raise funding.
