Zylie & Friends is a new children's toy and media company that's reversing the trend of cheap toys and an over-reliance on TV and apps to keep kids entertained by creating high-quality physical products, engaging characters and stories and continuous content that gets kids and their families off their devices and engaged in fun and learning that inspires adventure. We're carried in Toys"R"Us, partnered with FAO Schwarz, appearing on QVC and have won nearly every award in our industry.
In addition to run-on sentences, we're really good at making toys that kids love, and stories that inspire them. We've just launched a new site that seeks to bring the whole family into the picture and provides activities, stories and other content that gets everyone making and creating, rather than passively watching and pressing buttons.
We are looking for a spark-plug addition to the team that can take on the first crucial task of tweaking V1 of our new site. From there, we want to make that person a more crucial and permanent part of this little engine that could, and with a whole bunch of exciting stuff on the horizon, the sky's the limit. You might even call it an adventure in the making (we really like adventures).
The ideal candidate has excellent web design chops, is up on the trends (and hopefully spends a good amount of time scouring Dribbble and Behance to ensure they stay up on them), has a love for beautiful, FUNCTIONAL design, and digs a culture without cubicles and TPS reports. Starting out part-time and transitioning to full-time.
