Responsibilities
Technically anchor a small team of front end engineers, providing oversight for best code practices, design reviews and technology decisions
Collaborate actively with cross departmental technology leadership
Work with management and stakeholders to ensure product initiatives can be met
Participate in project scoping and lead front end technical definitions
Hands on infrastructure and feature application development utilizing entire technology stack
Be a superhero
Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Expert level LAMP development skills (PHP, MySQL)
Expert level HTML, HTML5, CSS
Strong Object-Oriented Javascript experience
Intimate knowledge of cross browser and mobile web best practices
Proven history of working with MVC frameworks
Track record of successful application and systems design
Strong systems and troubleshooting experience

DESIRED SKILLS:
Release management experience
Experience with Cassandra, Thrift, XML, JSON
Experience with Smarty or similar template engine
Working knowledge of Facebook OpenGraph, OAuth
Experience working with remote team-members
Education
6+ years experience building high-volume web applications in rapid release cycles
BS in Computer Science with strong software engineering background
