Overview
The Website UI Designer will join a great team and work on a facelift and expansion of our current company website and design the UI for our website.
The ideal candidate will have extensive design experience, with a primary goal of designing and implementing Web2.0 features and the willingness to work with management team to translate business ideas into creative and intuitive web pages optimized to increase conversion. This position is for an individual that is entrepreneurial and willing to join a team and join a rapidly growing startup and dedicate significant time, effort, and commitment to make the company a success. The candidate should be self-motivated, eager to design great processes for our site.

Responsibilities
Rapidly transform raw ideas into webpage designs with a polished look and feel.
Design User Interface for web application that is easy and simple to use.
Manipulate photos and create graphics and clipart to enhance website content.
Experience
1-2 years minimum experience designing commercial web-products
Passion for information flow, readability, and interface usability principles
Knowledge of current web 2.0 web-design trends and techniques.
Experience in UI development for e-commerce sites
Skills
Excellent Photoshop skills
Experience with Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, fireworks, illustrator. knowledge of dreamweaver a plus) Skills
Must have portfolio demonstrating Photoshop and UI skills
Skilled in visual design, page layout, typography, and composition concepts
Strong graphic design skills and artistic sense
Strong oral and written communication skills
Access to Adobe CS software
Ability to convert website designs into standards-compliant HTML/XHTML/CSS markup pages a plus
Fluent in web scripting languages such as JavaScript also a plus
