Overview
Grooveshark is looking for a Web UI Designer to join our Web team. Applicants should be (alarmingly) obsessed with details and have examples of prior UI experience on hand.
Grooveshark is an online, music-streaming service dedicated to bringing on-demand music to the world. Founded in 2006 by two University of Florida students, Grooveshark streams songs to 30 million people around the world.
Our open-office environment encourages collaboration and creative thinking. Cubicles are strictly prohibited. Not yet convinced? We care for our employees very much.

Responsibilities
Working with the Web team to craft designs for UIs and UI components for new functionality and for improvements to existing functionality
Autonomously propose alternative designs to existing UI pages and components, and iterate on those designs through feedback from the Creative team
Addressing UI issues flagged by our Quality Assurance team
Skills
Did we mention you should be anal-retentive and obsessed with details?
Must be able to look at our website and feel that obsession kicking in
Must be comfortable working with developers
Must have a strong understanding of user interfaces
Must be personable
Can flourish in an “outside of the box” startup environment
Strong examples of UI design (knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus)
