BioRAFT (www.bioraft.com) is a quickly growing company focused on building an enterprise level web-based application used in university and pharmaceutical research centers across the country. We aim to make labs safer, more efficient, and help them comply with pesky regulations. We make safety seem sexy.
*Why work for us?*
(1) We support a work hard, play hard mentality -- we pay well, give great benefits and support your need for a flexible work schedule.
(2) We empower our engineers to make an impact -- as a developer you will drive from the front-seat our product direction, technical strategy, implementation choices, and operational decisions.
(3) We are young and growing - we are small now, but growing fast in 2012. Get on board now and help us set the direction for our future!
This is a development-oriented role, and you will play a critical role in our tight-knit development team. Your days will mostly be spent in code (PHP and JS/AJAX) but you will also spend time collecting and understanding requirements for our interface needs. Our developers will look to you for all things related to user interfaces, and you will be the authority on our team regarding what our front-end capabilities are. You will take our existing interfaces and improve them, and be in charge of implementing new interfaces moving forward. You should love playing with new technologies or approaches in order to make web applications slicker or sexier.
Your job will span multiple functional areas of our teams, and the lines of responsibility will often be blurred. We want self starters who are excited and motivated by the opportunity to do and learn things that may be outside their normal areas of expertise. If you’ve ever said “that’s not my job”, or pointed a finger when something failed - walk away now.
