3D Games Engineer

at Kixeye in San Francisco, CA   —   Jul 01, 2014   |  
KIXEYE seeks a talented engineering mastermind interested in taking their already extensive
knowledge of coding, but still willing to learn things on the fly solving problems they never knew
existed. This is a highly visible role, working on a brand new 3D game title.
What you get to do every day:
Gameplay systems design and implementation
Multiplayer systems architecture and implementation
Owning features that function across both client and server side
Collaborate on creating insanely great games in an efficient manner
Contribute to discussions with Art and Design teams to find technical solutions to design
What you bring to the role:
Fluent in C# with strong OOP fundamentals
Experience with Unity development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years development experience with at least one shipped product
Proficient with 3D math including linear algebra (vector math, matrices)
Knowledge of common data structures and algorithmic solutions
PC or console development experience
Direct experience with multi-player or equivalent client/server topologies as used in online
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
