.Net Application Programmer

at Qvinci Software in Austin, TX   —   Jul 08, 2014   |  
Qvinci Software is seeking an experienced application programmer to work on our Qvinci products. This is a full time (40 hour per week) position. There are no intern-level positions at this time. The ideal applicants have a proven track record in the design and development of high availability, highly scalable web based applications and logic. A thorough understanding of architectural best practices is essential coupled with a desire to work with the latest technology in a fast-paced, competitive team environment.
Writing Windows and web applications (client and server)
New development, enhancements and maintenance of business management applications
Working with a development team in an Agile environment
2+ years software programming experience
Worked at least one year on a commercial software product that has successfully launched
Experience in multi-tier architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming
Ability to work with and incorporate new technologies into your solution
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio
Ability to create and propose solutions to complex problems
Expert knowledge of C# and the Microsoft .NET stack
Experience with JQuery, HTML/CSS knowledge
ASP.NET Web forms and/or ASP.NET MVC experience
Experience implementing web services, including WCF
Working knowledge of SQL, T-SQL and database architecture in server environments.
Ability to debug and support source code
C# 4.0 & Microsoft .NET 4.0 experience
Understanding of agile software development practices, especially Lean and TDD
Computer science/computer information system or related degree or certification
