Purpose of Position:
The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing/implementing new product functionality and maintenance for our legacy products - primarily focused on CMT for Exchange’. Senior Developers are expected to work effectively with limited management oversight.
This is a telecommute position -- looking for someone on the east coast and within a 4 hour driving distance to NJ. Must be able to travel to NJ a couple days/month for onsite team meetings.
Interpret functional requirements and create detailed functional designs, and driving quality into the design and implementation process.
Implement new functionality as well as maintaining existing products and solving complex problems.

Very experienced in interpreting functional requirements and creating detailed functional designs.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the full software development life cycle and be able to consistently produce high-quality software.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, entrepreneurial environment.
Interact with clients on an occasional basis to obtain technical details regarding problems or new development.
Interact with other departments (e.g., product marketing, support) to hone product requirements.
Experience and/or skills required:
Degreed professional with minimum 5 years’ experience in complex, client/server software development.
Hands-on experience with c/c++ in a Windows environment.
Thorough understanding of object oriented programming.
Thorough understanding of threading and concurrent programming.
Solid experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Experience/skills a plus:
Experience in a company that implemented and sold software products in a competitive marketplace.
Experience with Notes and/or Outlook email systems, with an understanding of the backend servers (i.e., Domino and/or Exchange, Active Directory), a big plus.
Knowledge of MAPI and Powershell a plus.
Experience with c# including Win Forms, ASP.NET and WCF
Knowledge of SQL in a SQL Server environment
Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMWare
Exposure to unit testing and/or continuous integration
Degreed professional required.
