Overview
We are a small startup in health care. We are currently looking for a UX designer with creative ideas on how to display a lot of health care information in an easily navigable and understandable way. We also want the interface to be fun so any background in gaming is a plus. Background in healthcare of course is a plus. We are looking people who have created very creative and non-conventional user experiences and elements. If your experience is mostly in vanilla corporate design, you would not be a good match.

Responsibilities
Analyze data and come up with overall user experience scenarios
Design individual pages and elements (dynamic data)
Possibly implement the designs in css/sass
Experience
UX design or HCI
Experience with designing for dynamic websites (this is mandatory- static web experience, typical e-commerce or other website experience is not sufficient)
Healthcare (a +)
Gaming, game-design (a +)
Experience with Ruby on Rails built web sites (a +)
Skills
UX concepts
Understanding of the psychology of design, people's motives, reactions, etc (a +)
CSS/SASS (a +)
Education
Not important, as long as you have the right experience (something to show for it) and understanding of user experience design.
Compensation
We'll probably pay for the project (design or our site) and if you're capable the implementation of the front-end experience. Negotiable but probably in the $1000-$3000 range. If you're local to Bay Area, CA, Miami, FL or NYC, NY we can discuss you joining our startup if we love the work.
