We’re looking for a eCommerce Sales Director to have overall responsibility of MakerBot’s online sales, marketing and lead gen strategy. You’ll be immediately accountable for achieving aggressive online sales, lead and conversion goals in a metrics-driven environment selling our products online. You’ll need to be able to act entrepreneurially, iterate your tactics/strategies quickly and most importantly, roll up your sleeves to make things happen. Responsibilities
Be responsible for driving product sales, generating leads and increasing conversion via Makerbot.com
Work in partnership with our Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and Customer Support teams
Drive the adoption of a customer-centric mindset by developing business requirements that will evolve the customer experience
Identify, recommend and execute strategies that best position MakerBot for success in the evolving 3D printing and scanning marketplace
Identify products, technologies and tools to increase online traffic, conversion and revenue
Leverage relationships with internal teams and external resources
Proven track record of success driving online sales of products
Align MakerBot eCommerce strategy with MakerBot’s marketing, sales and lead gen initiatives
Manage external partner relationships and internal team members
Be fully accountable for all direct online sales metrics
Experience
6+ years experience in eCommerce sales or marketing role
Skills
Proven online marketing and ecommerce experience--show us results!
Strong knowledge of Magento, Salesforce and/or other eCommerce platforms
Ability to negotiate effectively with outside vendors
Clear leadership and mentoring abilities
Strong technical grasp of eCommerce and digital marketing/merchandising principles
Multi-tasking and super organizational skills
Professional experience with 3D printing or MakerBot is a significant plus
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
