BrightNest is changing the way people take care of their homes. We are a web-based platform that delivers engaging organizational tools, expert recommendations and creative content to homeowners across the US and Canada.
We are fresh out of a four-month accelerator program in Silicon Valley (500 Startups) and are funded by some fantastic investors like: David Cohen, Dave McClure, OCA Ventures, New World Ventures. Now, we’re back in Denver and looking for an iOS developer to help us rock the mobile space.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are a fast-moving, lean startup machine. We believe in rapid iteration based on A/B testing, metrics and user feedback. This means we need someone who can hussle. You should feel comfortable thinking quickly, being creative, and working in a fast-paced environment.
You’ve built iOS apps from the ground up and know how to get them in the app store. You can handle the responsibilities of leading the mobile development for our entire company.
You have an eye for elegant design, clean user interfaces, and implementing the latest and greatest features in the iOS SDK to build feature rich native iOS apps.
We have a large Ruby On Rails site that the mobile app will interact with. Experience building and integrating web API’s with native iOS apps is a huge plus, as is any Ruby/Rails experience.
You write beautiful code that you are proud of. You follow an iterative approach to development, continuing to tweak and build the app based on user and team feedback.
