UxStation is recruiting a Operations/Back-End Software Engineer for a company which includes founders comprised of Stanford grads, former Googlers and a VC who also teaches Entrepreneurship at Stanford, as well as an all-star cast of funders.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for data analysis, monitoring of distributed systems as well as third-party data providers, and task automation. You will have the opportunity to define and evolve the backend maintenance process.
Experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
A BS in computer science, preferably with a focus on systems or theory
Experience with databases, preferably MySQL
Knowledge of Java; network programming and distributed computing
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as shell script, Python, or PHP
Interest in finance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a small team.
