Punchbowl Software, creators of MyPunchbowl, is seeking to add another accomplished Rails developer to our growing team. The ideal candidate is extremely talented in Ruby on Rails and has been using Rails extensively in consumer-facing web applications for more than a year. Expert knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS and previous TDD experience is also required.

Punchbowl.com, a party planning and digital greeting cards company, is looking for an experienced PR Specialist to join our growing marketing team. We're looking for someone that understands the importance of PR and social media for a growing company and wants to propel the company into the national spotlight.

You will be responsible for building, managing and executing the Punchbowl brand across various public relations channels and social media (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.). As an instrumental part of Punchbowl’s marketing team, you will help build the PR strategy and help elevate the brand to target consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities:

Build professional and personal relationships with target news reporters, bloggers, and editors
Write high-impact press releases and pitch to national and local media outlets
Craft and execute a comprehensive social media strategy

Monitor trends in social media and PR and apply that knowledge to increase brand presence
Measure and analyze ROI impact of PR and social media on our overall marketing efforts

Requirements:

Must be adaptable and love working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Persuasive communication skills (we're looking for an extrovert, not an introvert)
Determination, grit, and easy ability to deal with rejection
Superior writing skills, experience crafting and pitching press releases

Proven experience building social media presence
Bachelor’s Degree, with PR agency experience strongly preferred
Previous connections with local and national consumer press preferred
