Senior Java Developer in New York

There are unique challenges that surface when building a system that supports billions of messages for millions of mobile devices. The Senior Developer, is an enthusiastic, engaging engineer that will help scope, build and refine our enterprise-grade applications. The Senior Developer will collaborate closely with our development and business team to ensure that we construct solid platforms for our customer base. The Senior Developer must be fluent in all enterprise-class Java technologies and be able to apply the best solutions for complex, data intensive, business processes. The individual will have the opportunity to work on our various internal and public systems including: messaging, database, portal & end-point APIs. Xtify is seeking a senior systems/applications engineer to lead and support our growing cloud-based infrastructure and service strategy. The right candidate will have an excellent track-record of building and supporting high-performing, redundant infrastructure for platform/software-as-as-service web applications. The candidate will also be able to troubleshoot application support issues reported to us by our customers and be able to help our customers integrate our SDKs into their code-base.

Xtify is looking for developers who want to be involved in all aspects of development including design, implementation, and quality assurance. Xtify is a small team that is building great technology. We need you to be able to learn rapidly learn new technology, pick up concepts quickly and be someone who is excited to participate in the invention process. In brief, we are looking for someone who wants to do more than write code in isolation.

Xtify develops software for mobile devices and the web. Familiarity with web design and smartphone mobile development (Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile) is a plus.
