What you will be doing:

At Silver Spring Networks, the Firmware Group consists of Firmware Applications, Platform, Hardware Bring Up,and QA. As the Manager, Firmware Applications team, you will lead the applications team and work collaboratively with the other teams to design and deliver firmware applications for new and existing wireless and/or radio frequency (RF) systems and tools. Working closely with the product management, you are chartered with designing firmware applications for a wide variety of Silver Spring Network's product lines. Day to day responsibilities include: managing software schedules, creating feature specification, executing detailed design and reviews, as well as integrating with back office operations. The ability to lead and develop a talented group of individual contributors is a must.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other seasoned engineers in a small team within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for complex design and firmware development activities on new and existing wireless and/or radio frequency (RF) systems and tools.

This position will be responsible for developing embedded and non-embedded software for Silver Spring Network's Wireless networking products. The ability to interact with a highly talented group of individual contributors is a must.
