Join a fun, dynamic team building out Attentive.ly — an innovative social CRM SaaS product designed to help businesses and nonprofits transform their email lists into dynamic online communities.

The front-end is build on CodeIgniter (PHP) and the backend is HBase/Hadoop/AWS. We do not require Hadoop or Hbase experience, but are looking for a senior developer with 5+ years of PHP and Java experience. Bonus points for experience with noSQL databases and/or highly scalable web apps.

Fission is seeking a strong php/javascript PHP/LAMP senior developer. We develop leading edge highly interactive web applications for cause-oriented organizations.

Most of our work is in PHP (CodeIgniter), Javascript (jQuery), HTML5/CSS3 on Linux servers with MYSQL db. We use many standard APIs (Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, CRMs, etc).

Our team is distributed -- with lead developers in Boston and Atlanta, partners in DC and San Francisco, designers in Seattle and Detroit. Despite the distance, our "office" culture is vibrant, fueled by heavy use of Yammer, Skype, and Google Hangouts.

Senior Developer - CodeIgniter, Javascript in Washington

Fission is seeking a senior developer with deep experience in CodeIgniter (or deep experience in PHP and familiarity with CI) and Javascript for part-time or contract work. Experience with Facebook app development is a (big) plus.

We are looking to develop a relationship with an independent contractor who can take on work as s/he is available, to supplement our team of 2 developers. Requests range from a few ad-hoc hours to hundreds of hours over 4+ months.

Right now, we have the following projects available: completion of development on a web-based product (36 hours), setting up Django CMS templates (10 hours), and 2 website development projects (50-80 hrs each).

Fission is a strategy and web dev firm that works with cause-oriented organizations to help them use technology and social media to engage supporters in their work. Our clients include Greenpeace, Oxfam, Momsrising, and Hosteling International USA. We do fast-paced work with great clients. Our team of 12 is distributed, with staff in 6 states. There is no location requirement; we're just looking for a great developer who is easy to work with and can jump on projects when needed.
