Rockstar Product Manager for our Recruit ConciergeTM Product

RiseSmart is looking for a stellar Product Manager to help us revolutionize our Enterprise Recruiting web application – the RiseSmart Recruit ConciergeTM Product. RiseSmart is the leader in technology-powered outplacement services and Recruitment Process Outsourcing, focusing on innovative and advanced technology using semantic search and heuristics to help corporations as they transition employees in or out.
Our proprietary platform enables a human-powered search infrastructure that allows us to hand-pick and tailor jobs to those in need while providing awesome features, all to help accelerate the time to their next job. The same technology platform also helps us find outstanding candidates for open position posted by employers allowing us help them reduce time-to-hire.

A huge part of this position is the end-user experience, where this role takes a pivotal stance. We're looking for someone to work within the Product Management team to own the Recruit ConciergeTM product and drive it through its lifecycle; think engineer meets strategist – this is a key position within the organization. Job Perspective
RiseSmart.com is a rapidly growing venture capital backed online recruiting company. It is the only Concierge service for Job seekers, Recruiters and Corporations. We are looking for a product manager who can step in and assist us with further enhancing our products and building out some new products. The ideal candidate will be someone who has 3-5 years of experience in product management and marketing.

Product Design

* Meet with stakeholders and participate in strategy discussions for product roadmap. Instill processes to keep living roadmap highly visible and accessible to all stakeholders so direction can be adjusted as needed.
* Survey marketplace for similar approaches and evaluate how we might do things better / differently or leverage successful techniques where they exist
* Compose or manage delivery of Product Requirements Documents that clearly state the core functional and brand goals of the product and give an in-depth explanation of the desired functionality
* Create or manage delivery of wireframes for pages to support build up of product websites
* Lead creative / design reviews against brand goals and values
* Possess working knowledge of technologies being applied to implementation of product

Project Management & Development Guidance

* Work closely with project contributors to better understand costs and benefits of each initiative as an aid to prioritization
* Decompose initiatives into steps with owners and due dates to ensure predictable outcomes
* Identify dependencies, assumptions and constraints that affect the outcome of each project
* Actively identify and manage risks to ensure predictable outcomes
* Plan iterations and lead inspection efforts throughout life cycle

Special projects

* Develop roadmaps for our platforms and products
* Assemble Product Requirements Documents including functional goals, brand goals, functional requirements, and detailed wireframes.
* Monitor competitive sites and ensure that our sites maintain competitive advantages
* Lead efforts to ensure predictable outcomes to projects

What you need!

* Must be a committed team player, able to work both independently and interact with executive management, and other staff members
* Stellar work ethic, plug in and do what is needed
* Exceptional leadership skills; must establish credibility within the team as a knowledgeable, effective leader that knows where projects are today and where they need to go
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Must have an innate need to plan, make lists, and ask lots of good questions
* 3-5 years of significant product / project management and marketing experience * Working knowledge of the product development stages and process
*Ability to multi-task and work under high customer demand and changing priorities
*BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
