Our technology projects include working on advanced information-retrieval algorithms, massive scalability and storage solutions, and large-scale applications that create unique user experiences for sharing and appreciating artwork across a number of mediums and platforms.

Software Engineering Position:

deviantART is looking to hire a senior level software engineers to join the Devious Technologies team. This team member will be responsible for participating in a variety of projects across a number of areas of deviantART ranging from systems maintenance to web application development. This position will require a great deal of interaction and collaboration with both technical and non-technical members of the management team. It will also involve leading and mentoring small agile teams of junior level developers and creating technical specifications from project requirements assembled by product managers and user interface designers. Applicants outside of the Los Angeles area have the option to work remotely, but must be available during office hours, which are 10AM – 7PM PST.
