Co-Founded in August by Jessica Jackley (Previously Founder of Kiva) and two other Stanford graduates (and heavily advised by Cory Ondrejka, Co-Founder of SecondLife), Financial Services Startup, ProFounder is a new way of crowdfunding startups and small businesses through friends, family, and social network/community involvement online. There is a huge gap and need for funding for startups/small businesses right now and ProFounder has an innovative solution for it.

Job Description
Profounder is seeking a Technology Director to lead the development of its website. You will be responsible for the design and development of the user-interface, front-end client-side scripting, and back-end databases and server-side scripting for the website.

Technical Qualifications-

- Seamless and simple user interface design skills are critical.

- Preferable candidates have experience with front-end (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX) development, SQL and some server-side scripting language (PHP/Java/Python/Ruby or similar).

- Previous experience building websites from scratch.

The ideal candidate would be-
- An ambitious computer science graduate who can lead the technical needs of the company.
- Comfortable and excited to work in a startup environment.

Compensation-

ProFounder is beginning to raise its first round of financing and you will be involved in all levels of business strategy for the startup as we move forward. Compensation is flexible and most likely a mixture of cash and equity. Please email evan@profounder.com if interested.
