CTO of an early stage start-up with stellar team in the personal development and wellness space in San Francisco

Early stage start up is looking for a co-founding CTO. Current structure is CEO, one developer and one graphic designer. CEO is accomplished entrepreneur with previous two tech start-ups successfully launched and sold, Harvard Business School MBA and prior engineer.

This is a consumer facing wellness oriented venture, an $11 billion and growing market. To date the venture it is self financed and we've got a number of prominent Silicon Valley VCs interested, depending on successfully developed and launched prototype, which would be a critical function of the CTO in these initial stages.

I'm looking for a talented, passionate and entrepreneurial PHP developer who's had experience building consumer web technology / companies to join me as a co-founder with a large equity stake. Experience with lead generation consumer businesses, experience architecting and building consumer facing web platforms, familiarity with popular social media APIs (facebook, twitter, etc), superstar programmer is key. All development is San Francisco/Bay Area based.

An early stage start up is looking for a technical co-founder to serve in the role of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Current structure is CEO and development team. CEO is accomplished entrepreneur with previous two tech start-ups successfully launched and sold, Harvard Business School MBA and prior engineer.

A beta version of the product has already been launched and has excellent initial traction. This is a Health2.0 consumer facing wellness venture, a segment of the market that is $11 billion and growing. To date, the venture it is self-funded and has a number of prominent Silicon Valley VCs interested. VC investment is dependent on completing the team with the addition of the CTO.
The role of the CTO will be to steer the successful development and execution of the technology roadmap with proposed timeliness and deliverables.

Due to the nature of a startup, the CTO needs to be both hands-on and strategic. He/she must be a great architect, PHP developer, evangelist, interface designer and incredible debugger. The CTO will own all technical aspects of the business and manage any technical resources or team members as the company grows. The CTO will work with the developer team and be interested in providing advice and direction on other areas of business when requested.

The ideal candidate will be a veteran of the software industry whose skill set straddles consumer/software/social media/lead generation, who is interested in a high growth start-up in an exciting industry.
