Mobile User and Interface Designer in New York

We are looking for an experience and interface designer on a subcontracting basis, starting January 1, 2011, in NYC. We need someone who can

- interact with the product manager to define/refine the user experience on a mobile device
- develop wireframes
- perform usability tests
- create graphic assets

Although not essential, additional knowledge of how to design and implement (CSS, HTML and JS) a very basic web page would be competitive. Knowledge of mobile (IOS and Android) usability guidelines and best practices will be required.

Front-End and Back-End Web Engineers for a MIT-Harvard Product in New York

Robust Links is seeking two Internet engineers, one front and one backend, to join a project with Harvard and MIT, beginning 2010. We are building a market-based question-answering system where community members (at individual as well as departmental levels) can compete and develop a 'signal' of their reputation in various question categories. The goal is to then to incrementally open up these signaling markets to other institutions and finally to general public (entrepreneurial networks in particular). The project will commence in 2010 and involve several phases. The initial phase will be nine months, with strong likelihood of extensions into additional years.
